When driving a Class 3 vehicle on a footpath, speed has to be restricted to 4 mph. Scooters/powerchairs should not be used in bus lanes or cycle paths.
For safety reasons Regent Mobility does not recommend use of equipment on dual carriageways. The BHTA has published a leaflet entitled "Highway Code For Electric Scooter and Wheelchair Users" which you may find useful.
