All Regent Mobility scooters and powerchairs sold to mainland UK and Northern Ireland, come with three month's insurance and breakdown rescue cover for free. Regent Mobility is FSA (Financial Services Authority) registered and therefore authorised to offer this service.

For new scooter/powerchair purchases from us, after your initial 3 months of free insurance and break-down cover, you will be given the opportunity to extend the policy, but you are under no obligation to do so.

Insurance is not a legal requirement for any scooters or powerchairs whether Class 2 pavement vehicles or Class 3 road vehicles. However, we recommend that you obtain at least third party insurance covering you for injuries caused to members of the public (public liability insurance). In addition your policy will cover accidental product damage, theft, personal effects, your own injury cover and breakdown recovery.
